What types of clients do you typically see?
My training is in family mental health, I can treat all ages. However, I currently treat ages 4 to 60.
The office may advise you seek out another provider if your medical and/or mental condition requires substantial coordination of medical and mental health services.
This includes multiple medications and/or medical conditions that may influence treatment recommendations, regardless of age.
What are typical areas that you address?
I treat all psychiatric and mental health conditions, including , but not limited to, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and schizoaffective disorder (on a case by case basis).
Chronic, serious mental illness requires frequent monitoring and these patients are usually covered by Medicaid, which I do not accept. Chronic, serious mental illness is mostly treated at community mental health centers.
Do you provide therapy?
I am not a certified therapist or counselor, however, I can provide brief psychotherapy – many people call this “talk therapy”. This is usually included in our visits. I can provide guidance and insight along with coping techniques to work through your issues. I also promote and use therapeutic communication, motivational interviewing, and discussion. I provide education on diagnosis, medications, and treatment options. If we agree that more in depth or a specific type of therapy would benefit you, you will be advised to seek out a therapist.
How much do your appointments cost?
Self Pay Rates –
New patient appointments are 40 minutes and cost $300.
Follow-up appointments are 15 minutes and cost $150.
Insurance is accepted for medication management only.
Do you accept insurance or government assistance?
The answer is YES – I DO accept insurance
I have been contracted to see BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UHC, Optum and TRICARE patients. I also accept cash pay and HSA cards.

What is your no-show policy?
We ask that you give us a 24 hr notice if you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to provide that appointment spot to someone else. If you do not cancel/reschedule within 24 hrs of your appointment and fail to show for your time, you will be charged an $80 fee (for medication management appointments). You will be charged the full therapy fee for missed or canceled (less than 24hr notice) therapy appointments. . We require a form of payment on file to make an appointment.
In emergent circumstances, please immediately contact the office and if the circumstance is determined to be dire, this fee MAY be waived. This fee cannot be waived more than once.
Fees WILL NOT be waived for missing sunday appointments, there are no exceptions.
Showing up late (more than 10 minutes) for an appointment will result in cancellation.
Do You Treat Adult ADHD?
Adults who wish to be evaluated for ADHD will require testing PRIOR to medication being given. Patients with certain medical conditions will be required to have approval from a treating provider prior to being given any ADHD medication.
I have firm policies because your safety is our number one priority. We will not endanger the lives of our clients by giving stimulants freely.
Controlled Substance Policy/Agreement
These policies may not apply to everyone, regardless of prescribed medication.
Copy of the policy will be sent to you for your signature.
Failure to abide by this policy will result in termination.
