Co-Founder/Director of Clinical Training & Services
Dr. Michael Olson is a co-founder and clinical director of the Center for Couples and Families. He earned a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with post-doctoral training in Behavioral Medicine from University of Texas Medical Branch. He is currently licensed in the state of Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. He has worked as a professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch and the University of Nebraska Medical Center with over 14 years of experience in medical family therapy, behavioral medicine, and specialized training in EEG neurofeedback, biofeedback, and motivational interviewing (MI). Dr. Olson enjoys art, composing music, and spending time with his family.
